Microsoft this week announced that its answer to messaging platform Slack, Microsoft Teams, now has 20 million daily active users (DAU), making it almost twice the size of Slack. In April, Google CEO Sundar Pichai said usage of Meet had surged. Social distancing has been a boon to Google products, too. Companies have closed their offices and have depended on productivity software to keep their workers connected.
